Make Your Own Bacon

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to use this kit to produce your very own streaky bacon.

This project will yield perfect pancetta or brilliant streaky bacon, depending on how much you choose to dry it. You'll receive a recipe designed by our Head Charcutier Alex, which you can customise too, to make it your own. Will you go for a tasty sandwich bacon, or classic cooking pancetta?

This kit includes everything you need to make amazing bacon. Just decide whether you want to receive the meat from our supply, or if you'll source your own.

What's Included?

• Recipe card and instructions, for you to follow or adapt
• Collagen wrap and butcher's netting for your bacon's drying
• Cure for 2kgs bacon
• Stainless steel hook to hang the bacon from
• Delicious beef silverside (or select 'Without Meat' and supply your own)

What's Not Included?

• A cupboard full of excess ingredients you'll never use up.
  

What Equipment is Needed?

• A vacuum bag, or a ziplock bag to cure the bacon in.
  

Any Allergens?

• Sulphites from the wine.
