As the evenings lengthen, the aperitif comes into its own. At the end of a warm day in the garden, or the start of a hot night on the town, our aperitif collection is the perfect way to begin.

Each charcuterie aperitif hamper is locally sourced, putting collaboration together with curation. When you tuck in, you'll be supporting no fewer than 3 British artisan producers. Now that is something to savour.

The Aperitif Files - Fennel

Fennel to the fore. At once vegetable, herb and spice, we find it in the cure of our salami, the brine of the olives and the secret aromatic compounds of a Negroni. No contrast, just harmony.

It’s the Negroni which brings this together. Fennel with pork has a sweetness which the Negroni welcomes, while the bitterness of olives chimes with those same compounds in the Campari.

Fennel Salami by Bray Cured
Giving a charcuterie classic the respect it deserves: marrying toasted fennel with beautiful Middle White pork. It’s a staple of the charcuterie board, and fantastic on a sandwich too.
British Middle White Pork, Black Pepper, Pork Fat, Salt, British Red Wine (Sulphites), Fennel Seeds, Dextrose, Thyme, Garlic, Chilli, E251, E250.

Marlow Gin, Campari, Sweet Vermouth. 21% alcohol. Contains sulphites. 20cl. 

Fennel & Orange Olives by Olives Et Al
Exceptional olives, slowly cold brined for optimal flavour and texture. 
Stoned Green and Kalamata Olives (50%), Brine, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Rapeseed Oil, Orange Zest, Fennel Seeds, Acidity Regulator - Lactic Acid. 270g net.
