Good questions
When does the first box arrive?
For yourself: the first box is dispatched within 10 days, then one each calendar month around the same time. You get a note each time one is on its way. As a gift: the first box arrives within 10 days of them activating it, a little longer in the busy days just after Christmas.
Can I skip a month, or stop?
Yes. Skip a delivery for any reason, and cancel future payments any time before they are taken, from the link in every email we send about your subscription. If you paid ahead, you get every delivery you paid for first. Gift subscribers going away can email hello@braycured.com and we will hold that month’s box.
How does the gift work?
By post, we send a gift card in a blue Bray Cured box, in a plain outer package with a leaflet about us, the same day or to arrive on the date you choose. By email, it arrives today or on the date you choose. Either way, deliveries only start when they activate it with the code, to whichever address suits them. It can be redeemed for 1 year from the date of purchase.
Is delivery really included?
Yes. The price covers every month’s postage, for yourself and as a gift. Nobody pays anything more.
Does it need the fridge?
Not on the way. Our charcuterie travels at room temperature, so it is fine in the letterbox until they are home. Keep it in the fridge once a pack is opened, and enjoy it before the use by date.
Is there a pork-free Letterbox?
Not at the moment. Most months include pork, such as our salami, coppa and air-dried ham.
